Elman promotes culture

In the months of February and March 2011, ELMAN s.r.l. sponsorized the realization of a 3D model of the South side of the Coliseum (Flavian Amphitheatre), providing technical and informatic support.
The work has been realized by Poleis Società Cooperativa for the Soprintendenza Speciale per i Beni Archeologici di Roma (the italian authority for cultural heritage in Rome) before the upcoming restoration of the monument scheduled for 2012-2015.
The model has been realized using couples of stereoscopic digital photos combined with measurements provided by a Total Station (Leica TS 06 model) and elaborated by the Photomodeler Scanner software.
