Visita USA-WAIS

A Delegation of Senior Officials of the American Coast Guard, captained by Admiral Karl Schultz, Commander of the Atlantic Area, visited the General Command of the Italian Coast Guard. During the visit, the PELAGUS system for maritime traffic surveillance and the W-AIS system, which allows encrypted AIS data exchange, were displayed. Through. Both systems have been designed and manufactured by ELMAN.

New RTV-8155/A

nuovo RTV-8155/A

ELMAN designed and manufactured a new avionic transceiver for ground-to-air communications in the 118-136.975 MHz (avionic civil band) frequency range, which supports AM and VDL-2 modulation (VHF data link mode 2). The name of this newly developed device is RTV-8155/A.
The transceiver was built entirely in digital technology.
The device also supports VDL-2 mode.

ELMAN for the art

ELMAN contributed to the new work of artist Rossella Biscotti.
The work is part of the exhibition "The Journey" and is currently displayed  at the Vanabbe museum in Eindhoven.
The exhibition will be open until 19 March 2017.
The work analyzes the environmental complexity of the Canal of Sicily.

VTS Symposium 2016

elman_vts2016ELMAN will attend the13th International VTS (Vessel Traffic Service) Symposium .

The Symposium will convene at the Kuala Lumpur Convention & Exhibition Centre (KLCC) on 8-12 August 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The symposium is promoted by IALA - AISM (International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities), an international organization for Marine Traffic Control and Maritime Surveillance, association with the Marine Department of Malaysia.
